2009 - 2010 Conference Season

On January 28th - 31st, the senior League attended the University of Pennsylvania, Ivy League of Model UN, as Switzerland.  This delegation is composed of our most senior League delegates in the upper levels of high school.

Special Congrats to:

Grace and Vanessa, on the Commission of Sustainable Development, received an Honorable Mention (3rd place).  Both delegates led in their committee, sponsored resolutions, and most importantly worked hard to build consensus among their fellow delegates.

Hanna, on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, received an Honorable Mention.  Hannah, a freshman, in a difficult committee, did not hesitate to be one of the first nations on the Speaker's list, and formed ally blocs in unmoderated caucus.

Kiki, on the United Nations Children Fund, received a Verbal Commendation (4th place).  Kiki worked from dawn to dusk, delivered numerous speeches, sponsored a resolution, and was a signatory of various other resolutions.
