Welcome to the League of Creative Minds, Academy of Debate & Diplomacy. The League high school year-round program is meant for our students entering the 9th to 12th grade. The League high school program draws students at the top of their class who are passionate about learning, and hold a genuine interest in intellectual dialogue amongst like-minded peers. The delicate crafting of each high school delegation class creates a dynamic classroom environment with a group of students who strive to act as social catalysts of change and innovation. International issues on the agenda include topics in economics, politics, health, science, technology, peacekeeping, security and conflict resolution. Although our entering high school League delegates are are not expected to be experts in the field of foreign policy, they should exemplify a burning curiosity to learn about the world of foreign affairs and debate. Observation (tryout) dates for the upcoming 2024-25 League Year:
An observation session will last for approximately two hours. Delegates who are unable to attend an observation session on any of the above dates, should contact the League to inquire if other arrangements are possible. Interested delegates for the upcoming 2024-25 academic school year may shadow on specific dates throughout the current academic school year. All student shadow appointments require a completed shadow application in order to attend a League class. Parents may request a shadow application by emailing Admissions@Lcmmun.org. Shadows are not permitted during any of the League summer course sessions held at Stanford University.
